Dave Apparently Done...
(full story)

If we are to believe Charlie Murphy (and I do), there will not be another new season of Chappelle's Show. If that's true, Dave Chappelle will become one of the biggest flame-outs in entertainment history. I can't think of another actor/comedian who rose to prominence so quickly, only to drop out of the spotlight even quicker.

I guess now we start waiting for the unaired 3rd season shows to come out on DVD.

Finally...
(full story)

It looked like it would never happen, but Mike Modano and the Dallas Stars finally came to an agreement on a new contract late Wednesday that should keep him in town for the rest of his career.

Ok, so Modano is 35 and is not the same player he was a few years ago. He still is arguably one of the best players on the team. 14 out of 15 years with stellar hockey leads me to believe that Modano is due to come back into form this next season.

Another huge factor for the Stars in this whole thing is public relations. Mike Modano is Dallas Stars hockey. Trying to sell this team to this area without the face of the franchise would be insane.

Ok, everybody is happy now...let's finally hear about hockey and not all this contract crap.

(full story)

After adamantly denying just months ago that he had ever used steroids, Rafael Palmeiro is now facing a 10-game suspension after violating Major League Baseball's drug policy. In fact, he was still denying everything in a statement released today:

"I have never intentionally used steroids. Never. Ever. Period."

Who's Palmeiro trying to convince at this point? He's actually starting to sound a little like Barry Bonds, who also says he never intentionally used steroids. Start blaming it on the flaxseed oil, Raffy...
