Finally...

It looked like it would never happen, but Mike Modano and the Dallas Stars finally came to an agreement on a new contract late Wednesday that should keep him in town for the rest of his career.

Ok, so Modano is 35 and is not the same player he was a few years ago. He still is arguably one of the best players on the team. 14 out of 15 years with stellar hockey leads me to believe that Modano is due to come back into form this next season.

Another huge factor for the Stars in this whole thing is public relations. Mike Modano is Dallas Stars hockey. Trying to sell this team to this area without the face of the franchise would be insane.

Ok, everybody is happy now...let's finally hear about hockey and not all this contract crap.
