Bye Bye Chan Ho...
(full story)

What every Rangers fan had been hoping for has finally happened...Chan Ho Park is gone! Texas found a sucker in San Diego to take him and his huge salary. So as we look back at the "Chan Ho Era", what did it produce?

68 starts. 22 wins, 23 losses, a 5.79 ERA

Numbers definitely worthy of all the cash the Rangers were giving him, right?

As for Phil Nevin, the guy Texas got for Chan Ho, I hope he works out here...but hell, I'm just glad the Rangers got something except a bag of balls in exchange for Park.

Bud Shows Some Balls...

After all the time it took to finally make a decision, I was a bit surprised to see that MLB Commissioner Bud Selig did not take any time off of Kenny Rogers' 20-game suspension. It still is basically a paid vacation for Kenny, but I'm glad that he didn't get his way and get a reduction. That crybaby bitch needs to learn some kind of lesson from this...unfortunately he probably hasn't and is still blaming the 'evil media' for his problems.

Just Days Away, Thank Goodness!

What a boring time of the year for SPORTS. Even with the action on the NHL labor front recently, most of the talk right now has to be (unfortunately) about your Texas Rangers. I will give them a little credit however: they stayed in the playoff race almost long enough to get us to Cowboys training camp!

Revenge Comes In November!

Mark November 1st on your calendars, fellow Star Wars dorks! That's when 'Revenge of The Sith' will be available on DVD! I'm really looking forward to seeing all of the extras that George Lucas will have along with the movie.

And I don't care what all you haters think, this was a really good movie and is worth adding to the collection...

Insert your own "Rangers Suck Ass" story here...I'm starting to run out.

Cowboys training camp just 5 days away...
Well, See Ya Later...

Whatever you may think about the Tour De France or cycling in general, there is no denying that Lance Armstrong (and his 7 straight titles) leaves the sport as one of the greatest athletes in American history, if not the world. What has made it even better for me is that, being the proud American that I am, seeing Lance dominate a sport that stinky Europeans hold in such high regard has been awesome. And while a new champion will be crowned next year, an American's name will be atop the Tour's record books for a very long time to come.
