So Kenny Rogers has decided to go ahead and take part in Tuesday's All Star Game in Detroit.

"I know that I belong there without a doubt," he said. "Even though there's other opinions out there, I really don't give them much weight. But players put me in there. They voted me in there, so I know it's one thing I deserve without a doubt, and that has a lot of weight."

The All Star Game is supposed to be a celebration of everything positive in Major League Baseball. Over the last 10 days, Kenny Rogers has been anything but a positive thing for the Rangers or baseball.

I hope the fans in Detroit boo him off the field...
